All of our trim kits are custom made, which means we can fabricate trim for virtually any appliance. We regularly make trim kits for built-in refrigerators, cooktops, wall ovens, microwaves, over-the-range microwaves, and countertop microwaves, but our capabilities go well beyond that. We’ve also created trim kits for undercounter refrigerators, outdoor grilles, fireplaces, and other custom applications. If it’s an appliance—or opening—that needs a clean, built-in stainless steel finish, we can design and fabricate a trim kit to fit it.
We offer multiple finish options, including stainless steel, black stainless, matte black, white, and custom finishes. You’ll find the available options listed on each product page, and we’re happy to provide finish samples upon request.
Yes. Because every trim kit is custom made, our kits are compatible with virtually all major appliance brands. We regularly design trim kits for brands like Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, KitchenAid, Bosch, Frigidaire, Panasonic, and many others. If your appliance has an opening that needs a clean, built-in finish, we can design a trim kit to fit—regardless of brand or model.
No hidden fees. The price you see is the final cost, except for applicable taxes or shipping which will be visible at checkout.
Standard trim kits usually ship within 5–10 business days, while custom-sized kits ship within 10–15 business days. Delivery time depends on your location.
MEASUREMENTS & FIT
Measurements are typically not an issue. We go to great lengths to help you obtain accurate measurements using our step-by-step measurement forms. You can even upload photos of your tape measure if you’d like us to double-check your numbers. All measurements should be taken to the nearest 1/16″, and every order is reviewed by our team before fabrication. If anything looks off, we’ll reach out to you before your kit is made.
That’s completely normal—and we’ve got you covered. If you have questions at any point, you can reach out to us through our contact form and we’ll help walk you through the process. We also have internal checks that flag unusual measurements during planning. In the rare case something still isn’t right, we’ll either remake the kit or provide a return label, whichever you prefer. Yes. For all orders, our team reviews your measurements before we begin production to ensure the best possible fit. If we see any issues will reach out via email before starting fabrication.
Absolutely. You can send us photos of your appliance and the surrounding cabinetry, and we’ll answer any questions you might have about measurements.
All of our microwave trim kits and refrigerator trim kits are designed with functional ventilation slots to help promote airflow. We intentionally build ventilation into our designs and take airflow into consideration during the planning process. The slots are positioned to do their job without being visually distracting, so you get a clean, built-in look without blocking airflow.
That said, we’ve never seen an appliance manufacturer’s spec sheet that specifically addresses the addition of a trim kit. Because of that, we can’t make guarantees regarding ventilation. Every kitchen and installation is different, and it’s ultimately up to the homeowner to determine what ventilation approach makes the most sense for their specific appliance and space.
INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE
Our trim kits are designed to be DIY friendly. Each kit includes all required hardware and detailed installation videos that walk you through the process step by step. Most installations take 15–30 minutes, depending on the size of the kit.
That said, if you’re not especially handy, hiring a handyman or carpenter is usually the best option.

Yes. For most of our products we provide step by step measuring videos as well as installation instructions.
Most trim kits take 15–30 minutes to install. Larger or custom kits may take slightly longer, depending on your setup.
Use a soft cloth and mild cleaner to wipe the trim as needed. We like Weiman stainless cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals, which can damage the finish.

Even though every kit is custom made, all trim kits are returnable for a full refund if you’re not satisfied. You have up to 365 days from delivery to return your kit, and we provide free return shipping.
If your trim kit doesn’t fit for any reason, we’ll either remake it so it fits properly or issue a return label for a full refund—your choice.
If your kit is damaged during shipping or arrives with an issue, we’ll remake the affected parts or accept it back for a full refund.
